C-18 - Carved Moon Box

This small wooden box features a hand carved moon. First the box is stained blue and varnished, then carved out by hand using a template & "oldschool" wood carving tools. After the moon is carved out, a second layer of varnish is applied to protect the carving. Each moon is ever so slightly different due the handmade nature.
